Due to the storm that came in on March 1st extending into March 2nd, we have had to cancel a few routes due to the road conditions and poor visibility.  March 1st the Chester route was cancelled all day and the 10am Portola to Quincy and 5pm Quincy to Portola runs were cancelled and both 9pm runs cancelled.  We will try to run on March 2nd, again that depends on the weather and road conditions.  I am sorry for the inconvenience. 
 Please keep in mind when storms come in we might have limited service due to the roads being  icy and snowy, plus the routes could be running late.   

In recognition of President's Day, Plumas Transit will be offering limited or no services on the following days:
Friday Feb. 16th, will be a limited service day for all transit routes.  Quincy Evening route will stop running @ 5:00pm.   The Portola late night run will start at 8:25pm and the late night Greenville route will not run.  Monday Feb. 19th Plumas Transit will be closed in observance of President's Day.  We will resume our regularly scheduled routes Tuesday Feb. 20th.  

Our Chester AM/PM route is experiencing delays of 30 minutes and longer due to road repairs.  We are sorry the inconvenience.

Due to the weather and dangerous road conditions we have cancelled all of our routes for today.  No determination on route closures for Monday have been made at this time.  

Due to dangerous road conditions and the storm expecting to increase in intensity this evening we are cancelling the following routes...

Portola PM- 5pm route from Quincy to Portola 
Portola PM-9pm route from Quincy to Portola

Chester PM-5pm route from Quincy to Chester
*As of this time the 2:30pm to Greenville and the 9:00pm are expected to run. 
*Hwy147 as been closed due to flooding so no stops will be made at Hamilton Branch, this will continue thru  tomorrow morning until we receive notification the road is open.

Due to extreemly dangerous road conditions this morning through out the county today from icy roads, we are altering our routes tommorow morning due expected freezing tempratures and potential for similar road conditions.
