Date: July 14, 2010 PLUMAS TRANSIT NEWS Plumas Transit has moved its operation to 711 East Main Street effective 7/1/10. You can purchase bus passes/tickets and get information at this address from 7:30AM-4:30PM we are closed from 12:00 noon to 1:00PM. We sell bus passes and tickets from 9:00AM-4:00PM. Want to connect with Lassen County Bus Service. Plumas County Transit leaving Chester in the morning stops at Hamilton Branch at 6:39AM to connect with Lassen County Bus that goes to Susanville. Plumas County Transit leaving Quincy at 5:10PM to connect with Lassen County at 6:23PM going to Susanville. In the winter we are sometimes delayed due to snow and white outs connecting with Lassen County. Be sure to stay in contact with us during the winter months of snow to ensure we can connect with Lassen County at Hamilton Branch. We recommend you call Lassen Rural Bus Service to let them know you will be connecting with them for a ride into Susanville or from Susanville to Hamilton Branch to connect with Plumas Transit. Sage Stage in Alturas California (530) 233-6410 has bus service from Alturas through Susanville to and from Reno. Plumas County Transit 283-2538 no longer has service to Reno or Chico.
